Bank of India on Export Credit; dealt with EU and ESCAP. Was responsible for negotiating and
initialling the current third Agreement between India and the EU.

While serving as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Environment, New Delhi during March 1988 - January 1990, was responsible for negotiating as
official leader of the delegation and signed on behalf of India, the UN Convention on Transboundary Movement
of Hazardous Wastes.

While serving as the Chairman, Gujarat Pollution Control Board, Gandhinagar, had been the Nominee Director of the Gujarat Industrial Investment Corporation on the Board of a company. This posting as Chairman, Gujarat Pollution Control Board in a highly industrialized state was due to the rich experience in industrial development.

As Deputy Secretary / Director, Ministry of Commerce, Government of India, New Delhi during April 1974 - October 1976, also functioned as Director (Transport) involving shipping and air-cargo operations for exports. Also served as a Member of the Board of a subsidiary of the State Trading Corporation of India.
